About the Event
We feature a headliner who does two 10-minute sets and we guarantee a spot to everyone who wishes to share their work with us. It's anything goes; we just ask that you be respectful of our various communities and be mindful of content/triggers. Hope to see you there!
Our Feature:
Amanda Earl (she/her) is a Canadian pansexual polyamorous feminist who writes poetry and prose, makes visual poetry, edits, and publishes others from her 19th floor apartment in Ottawa, Ontario. Earl will be reading from Welcome to Upper Zygonia, a poetry manuscript in progress that engages with Utopias and dreams of a better world. Earl is grateful for funding received from the City of Ottawa for this work. Earl is the managing editor of Bywords.ca, the editor of Judith: Women Making Visual Poetry (Timglaset Editions, 2021) and the fallen angel of AngelHousePress.
