As Laureate, Richard-Yves Sitoski’s activities take place in Gitche Namewikwedong/Owen Sound, on the traditional territory of the Anishinaabe Nation: the People of the Three Fires, known as the Ojibway, the Odawa, and the Pottawatomie Nations. He gives thanks to the Chippewas of Saugeen and the Chippewas of Nawash, now known as the Saugeen Ojibway Nation, as the traditional keepers of this land.
